DESCRIPTION

641218-2 is an MTA-100 connector header designed for printed circuit board applications with 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing. The header features phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (.000030 [0.00076] or .000015 [0.00038] post gold plated over nickel) and is constructed to UL 94V-0 standards. Key dimensional specifications include a post size of 0.025 inch (0.64 mm) square, a solder tail length of 0.125 inch (3.18 mm), and an overall length determined by multiplying 0.100 inch by the number of circuits plus 0.150 inch. This header is commonly used in wire-to-board mating applications and is compatible with MTA-100 connectors, providing reliable electrical connections in industrial and commercial electronic assemblies.
