The 646346-1 is a Type D vertical male connector designed for Z-PACK 2mm HM backplane systems with 8 rows and 176 signal pins, featuring center guiding and keying facility. It is constructed with a glass-filled polyester housing (gray, UL94 V-0 rated) and phosphor-bronze signal contacts with 0.8 µm Au over 1.3 µm Ni plating, ensuring reliable electrical performance. The connector operates with a 2.0 mm contact pitch and is available in short tail configuration with a tail length of 3.0 mm, making it suitable for use with unshielded female connectors.
