DESCRIPTION
The 66400-1 is a high-voltage connector contact designed for use in 20 kVDC commercial single-line connector systems manufactured by TE Connectivity/AMP. This contact is utilized in both free-hanging receptacle kits and bulkhead-mounted receptacle kits, supporting wire sizes of 22-20 AWG (0.3-0.6 mm²) and 18-16 AWG (0.8-1.4 mm²) with maximum insulation diameters of 0.185 inches and 0.302 inches respectively. The contact is compatible with various kit configurations including standard receptacle assemblies and bulkhead-mounted receptacles with rear insulation collars. These connectors are commonly employed in high-voltage industrial applications, power distribution systems, and equipment requiring reliable electrical connections at elevated voltages with robust mechanical and electrical performance.
