The 745833-9 is a subminiature D-connector component from the AMPLIMITE HDP-20 series designed for cable termination using crimp snap-in contacts. The connector features a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black insert with either zinc-plated or tin-plated steel shell construction, available with or without grounding indents. It supports multiple shell sizes offering 9, 15, 25, 37, or 50 contact positions, with mounting options including standard .120 inch diameter holes or clinch nuts with 4-40 threads. The connector employs duplex plating (0.00076 inch gold and tin, or gold flash and tin) on contacts for reliable mating and termination. This design enables users to load only the required number of contacts, reducing cost and assembly complexity while maintaining high performance and intermatability with related HDE and HD-20 series connectors for diverse cable and panel mounting applications.
