DESCRIPTION
745968-8 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-type connector plug designed for high-density PCB applications. This shell size 3 connector features 25 contact positions with size 20 DF posted pin contacts, gold plated (plating code A) on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end with nickel underplating. The connector includes 4-40 threaded inserts, grounding indents, and a tin-plated steel shell with 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing. With overall dimensions of 2.090 inches (53.09 mm) length and 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) width, and a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm), it is recommended for PCB thicknesses of 0.062-0.093 inches (1.58-2.35 mm). This connector is ideal for industrial, telecommunications, and computing applications requiring reliable high-density signal connections.
