DESCRIPTION

The 747461-4 is a 9-position D-subminiature receptacle connector designed for right-angle PCB mounting in standard board applications. It features round phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (30 µin) on the mating area and tin-lead over nickel plating on the solder tails, ensuring reliable electrical connections and corrosion resistance. The connector is housed in thermoplastic material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and includes preloaded size 20 DF posted socket contacts for secure contact retention. With a termination post length of 3.18 mm (0.125 in) and recommended PCB thickness of 2.36 mm (0.093 in), this connector is suitable for industrial and commercial applications requiring robust D-subminiature connectivity. The product is RoHS/ELV compliant and wave solder capable at multiple temperature profiles (240°C, 260°C, and 265°C), making it compatible with modern manufacturing processes.
