DESCRIPTION
747532-8 is an AMPLIMITE D-subminiature cable connector receptacle designed for shielded cable applications. This shell size 2 receptacle features 15 contact positions with a tin-plated steel shell and 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insert. The connector has dimensions of 1.520 inches (Dim. C) and 1.002 inches (Dim. D), with a recommended cable outer diameter range of .165-.455 inches and maximum inner cable bundle diameter of .350 inches. The contact finish is gold flash on mating end with tin on termination end (Plating Code B), with entire contact nickel underplated. This RoHS compliant connector is suitable for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers and peripherals, and data storage applications.
