DESCRIPTION
The 748026-1 is an AMPLIMITE subminiature D-type connector plug featuring Shell Size 2 with 15 contact positions and a contact finish code B (gold flash on mating end, tin-lead on termination end with nickel underplating). This connector is equipped with 4-40 retention screwlocks designed specifically for 0.062 inch PCB thickness applications. The shell is constructed from tin-plated steel with a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black housing, while the female screwlocks are zinc-plated and threaded inserts are brass. The connector features grounding indents, a threaded insert, and fixed female screwlock configuration with retention capability. These connectors are commonly used in applications requiring reliable subminiature interconnections with secure locking mechanisms on standard PCB thicknesses.
