DESCRIPTION
The 749111-8 is a shielded D-subminiature cable connector plug designed for SCSI applications with 100 positions and .050 series spacing. It features insulation displacement crimp (IDC) termination for round jacketed cable with wire insulation diameters of 0.74–0.91 mm (0.029–0.036 in) and supports wire gauges of 30–28 AWG. The connector is constructed with a steel plug shell plated in tin-nickel alloy, phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating on the mating area, and includes a standard assembled termination cover. This connector is ideal for high-density signal transmission in industrial and computing applications requiring reliable shielded connections.
