DESCRIPTION
749179-1 is a shielded miniature circular DIN receptacle designed for right-angle board mount applications in computer I/O systems. This connector features 8 positions in a standard thru-hole configuration with hold-down capability, providing secure mounting on printed circuit boards. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material with 94V-O coating in black, while the shield is made of copper alloy plated with a minimum of 0.00254 mm tin-lead over 0.00076 mm nickel. The contacts are phospho-bronze with plating code A specification: minimum 0.00076 mm gold in the mating area and minimum 0.00305 mm tin-lead on solder tails, all over a minimum 0.00127 mm nickel underplate.
