DESCRIPTION
749877-9 is an AMPLIMITE .050 Series subminiature D-type panel mount flat top receptacle assembly designed for high-density interconnect applications. This 100-position connector features a contact pitch of .050 inches [1.27 mm] and comes with an assembled standard termination cover. The housing and termination covers are made of thermoplastic with 94V-0 flammability rating in black, while the shell is steel plated with bright nickel over copper and the bracket is zinc plated nickel over copper. Contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex plating featuring a minimum of .00030 inches [0.00076 mm] gold on the mating end and tin-lead on the solder end, all with nickel underplating. The connector dimensions include C: 3.080 inches [78.23 mm], D: 2.879 inches [73.13 mm], and E: 3.315 inches [84.20 mm]. This receptacle assembly is suitable for applications requiring reliable panel mount connections with recommended wire sizes of 28 AWG or 30 AWG.
