DESCRIPTION
770105-1 is a free-hanging receptacle housing for the 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) wire-to-board connector system, designed for 15-circuit power applications. This connector features a compact mated height of 19.4 mm and incorporates a positive lock mechanism with double lock plates to ensure complete contact loading and secure mating. The housing is constructed with protective walls surrounding the locking levers to prevent tangling with wires, and includes design features to release bubbles created during potting processes. The connector is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (File No. E28476) and certified by Canadian Standards Association (File No. LR7189), making it suitable for power circuits in home appliances, particularly gas appliances. The 5.0 PKC system supports multiple wire sizes from 24 AWG to 12 AWG with various contact materials including brass pre-tin and phosphor bronze options.
