DESCRIPTION

770278-1 is a single-circuit free-hanging plug connector designed for .062 commercial pin and socket connector systems. It features a housing constructed from UL94V-0 rated, 6/6 nylon glass-filled material in natural color, providing excellent electrical insulation and mechanical durability. The connector is rated for 250 V AC or DC with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1.0 kVAC and maintains an insulation resistance of 1000 megohms minimum. It supports a connector mating force of 2.5 lb (11.1 N) maximum per contact and an unmating force of 0.3 lb (1.3 N) minimum, with a contact insertion force of 4.0 lb (17.8 N) maximum and contact retention of 7 lb (31.1 N) minimum. This connector is ideal for general-purpose wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications requiring reliable, cost-effective interconnection in commercial and industrial environments.
