DESCRIPTION
770972-1 is a right-angle board lock pin header connector designed for Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK soft shell pin and socket connector systems. It features 12 circuits arranged in a dual row configuration with an A dimension of 1.040 inches (26.42 mm) for tin finish and 1.040 inches (26.42 mm) for duplex finish. The connector is available with either tin or duplex plating on the pins, where duplex finish provides enhanced durability with gold plating in the mating area and tin plating in the crimping area over a nickel underplate. This right-angle header with board lock is commonly used in PCB applications requiring secure, reliable interconnections in compact spaces, particularly in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics where space constraints and vibration resistance are important design considerations.
