The 788802-1 is an AMPLIMITE Subminiature D-type receptacle connector designed for HD-20 front metal-shell right-angle posted connector applications. It features 37 contact positions with a shell size 4 configuration, accommodating size 20 DF posted socket contacts preloaded in the housing. The connector is constructed with a steel tin-plated front shell, 94V-O rated thermoplastic housing compatible with wave, vapor phase, and infrared reflow soldering, and phosphor bronze socket contacts with duplex plating (gold on mating end, tin-lead on termination end, nickel underplated). Key dimensions include a mating face width of 2.729 inches (69.32 mm) and a depth of 2.500 inches (63.50 mm), with a post size of 0.026 inches (0.66 mm) diameter.
