DESCRIPTION
The 796858-2 is a one-piece Euro Style terminal block connector designed for secure wire termination in industrial control and communications equipment. It features a rising cage clamp termination method with post tin-plated contacts and nickel underplate, enabling reliable performance in corrosive environments. The connector is constructed from polyamide 6.6 per UL 94V-0 (self-extinguishing) material and includes board mount design with test probe access for convenient testing and troubleshooting. With a 2.54 mm centerline spacing and 10 amp current rating at 150 V, this connector is well-suited for HVAC equipment, fire and security systems, and test and measurement applications where durability and ease of assembly are essential.
