DESCRIPTION

8-106506-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D right-angle posted receptacle connector designed for PCB mounting applications. This 15-position connector features a front metal shell with tin plating for EMI/RFI shielding, duplex contact plating (0.000030 inch gold on mating end with tin on termination end), and boardlock mounting hardware. The connector has a post length of 0.125 inches [3.18 mm] and is constructed with UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic housing material. It supports contact current ratings of 3 amperes for 20 AWG [0.6 mm²] wire, with a maximum termination resistance of 30 milliohms and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC minimum. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections in industrial equipment, telecommunications, and data acquisition systems where space constraints and environmental protection are critical.
