DESCRIPTION
The 8-34161-1 is a ring tongue terminal with plastic insulation sleeve designed for secure electrical connections on #10 studs. It accommodates 16–14 AWG solid or stranded wire and features a copper body per ASTM B152 with tin plating per ASTM B545, combined with a blue PVC insulation sleeve. The terminal has a tongue material thickness of 0.79±0.05 mm and is dimensioned with a body length ("E") of 23.37 mm and a hole diameter ("D") of 18.95 mm, with wire insulation diameter range of 3.81–6.35 mm. This terminal is UL 486A certified and commonly used in automotive, industrial, and electrical distribution applications where reliable, insulated connections are required.
