DESCRIPTION

The HSC10020RF is an aluminium-housed, wirewound power resistor featuring a 100-watt power rating and a resistance of 20 ohms. It is engineered to dissipate 100W when mounted to a heatsink and 50W in free air, ensuring thermal stability. The resistor operates reliably across a broad temperature range from -55°C to 200°C. Key electrical characteristics include a maximum working voltage of 1900V, a dielectric strength of 5000V AC peak, and a temperature coefficient of ±50ppm/°C. Its robust design makes it ideal for use as a braking resistor, in capacitor charging and discharging circuits, for filtering, and in general power supply and electrical machinery applications.
