DESCRIPTION
JMAP-12XP is a double-pole electrically held low-signal relay designed for applications requiring reliable switching of low-level signals with contact ratings of 1 amp or less. The relay features a hermetically sealed TO-5 package with 2 Form C (DPDT) contact arrangement, gold/platinum/palladium/silver alloy contacts (gold plated), and operates with coil voltages ranging from 5 to 30 Vdc for the MA/MAD variants. Key technical characteristics include a maximum contact resistance of 100 milliohms before life testing and 200 milliohms after life testing, mechanical life expectancy of 1 million operations, and excellent RF switching capability with spreader pads for enhanced performance. The relay exhibits high shock and vibration ratings, operates time of 2.0 ms maximum, and supports continuous duty cycle operation. Common applications include low-level signal switching in aerospace, military, and industrial control systems where hermetic sealing and high reliability are essential.
