DESCRIPTION
JMAPD-5XL is a double-pole electrically held low-signal relay featuring diode suppression and protection, qualified to MIL-R-39016/20. The relay is hermetically sealed with a standard TO-5 package and offers a 2 Form C (DPDT) contact arrangement with gold/platinum/palladium/silver alloy contacts rated for 1 ampere and less. Key technical characteristics include an operate time of 2.0 ms maximum, release time of 4.0 ms maximum, contact bounce of 1.5 ms maximum, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 Vrms at 60 Hz between all contact configurations. The relay operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C with high shock and vibration ratings of 75 G's (6 ±1 ms) and 30 G's (10 to 3,000 Hz) respectively, along with excellent RF switching capability. This relay is ideal for aerospace, military, and high-reliability applications requiring low-level signal switching with superior environmental performance and mechanical durability.
