DESCRIPTION

The 6EC8 is a high-performance EMI power inlet filter from the EC Series, designed to provide effective attenuation of electromagnetic interference on AC power lines. It features a three-element differential mode circuit that delivers the highest attenuation of any available standard inlet filter, combined with high common mode inductance and high differential mode capacitance for superior noise rejection across both line-to-ground and line-to-line frequencies. The filter is rated for 6A continuous current at 250 VAC maximum, with operating frequency of 50/60 Hz and an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +40°C. The 6EC8 variant includes wire leads (back-mounted configuration) with 4.0 inches minimum length, 18 AWG, and is UL recognized, CSA certified, and VDE approved. This filter is ideal for industrial equipment, medical devices, and telecommunications systems requiring robust EMI suppression and compliance with international safety standards.
