DESCRIPTION

The 6ED8 is a medium performance compact EMI power inlet filter designed for electromagnetic interference suppression in power distribution applications. It features a two-element circuit that provides medium attenuation across a range of frequencies, with wire lead termination (back-mounted configuration) and an IEC 60320-1 C14 line inlet. The filter is rated for 6 A continuous current at 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz operation, with maximum leakage current of 0.22 mA at 120 VAC 60 Hz and 0.38 mA at 250 VAC 50 Hz. It is UL recognized, CSA certified, and VDE approved, making it suitable for industrial equipment requiring reliable EMI filtering and compliance with international safety standards.
