DESCRIPTION

The 1028-008-0405 is a backshell accessory designed for DTM and DTMH series 4-way plug connectors with a 180° cable exit configuration. This backshell provides strain relief and environmental sealing for the connector assembly, protecting the cable entry point from moisture, dust, and mechanical stress. It is compatible with both DTM and DTMH connector variants and is commonly used in automotive and industrial applications where sealed, reliable cable connections are required. The 180° orientation allows the cable to exit perpendicular to the connector face, facilitating routing in space-constrained installations.
