DESCRIPTION
The CAR3SC68-001 is a 3-position sealable round connector housing designed for wire-to-wire power applications in automotive systems. It features a circular connector shape with integrated primary locking, housing for female socket terminals, and a 10 mm centerline pitch with 180° cable exit angle. The housing is constructed from PAGF material in black, with a contact current rating of 25 A maximum at 25 VDC operating voltage, and accommodates mating pin diameters of 3.48 mm and 4.98 mm. It is rated for operation from -40 °C to +85 °C, provides IP68 sealing protection, and is mounted as a cable-mount (free-hanging) connector with polarization-based mating alignment. This connector is commonly used in automotive power distribution, battery management, and load-switching applications where sealed, reliable connections are required.
