DESCRIPTION
The DT06-12SA-CE12 is a 12-way DT series plug connector featuring enhanced seal retention design and A-key configuration, manufactured by TE Connectivity/Deutsch Automotive. This connector accepts contact size 16 rated for 13 amps and accommodates 14–20 AWG (2.50–0.50 mm²) wire gauges. The housing is constructed from rectangular thermoplastic material with an integrated latch for mating, and includes reduced diameter seals with a shrink boot adapter for environmental protection. The enhanced seal retention design incorporates a groove on the connector housing that secures the interface seal, allowing users to easily replace the seal without replacing the entire connector, thereby reducing downtime and replacement costs. This connector is field-proven to withstand heavy vibration, dirt, chemicals, and water spray in harsh industrial and transportation environments, and is intermateable with older DT connectors when used with the compatible WI25-P012 wedgelock.
