DESCRIPTION
ABC06N-22S is a modular in-line composite connector plug shell designed for aerospace, defense, and marine applications. It features a compact single-module shell that accepts a 0.5-inch module with ten size 22D contacts, supporting wire sizes from 28 to 22 AWG. The connector is constructed with an unplated composite shell and incorporates environmentally sealed design with corrosion resistance, fluid resistance, and EMI shielding (>40 dB from 100 to 1000 MHz) to withstand harsh aerospace environments. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -65°C to +175°C, with durability rated for 1500 mating cycles and shock resistance of 100 g (half-sine @ 3 ms). The connector features rear-release AS29029 contacts, a secure quarter-turn locking system, and is field serviceable, making it ideal for airframe, navigation, rack and panel, and missile defense applications where weight savings and configuration flexibility are critical.
