DESCRIPTION
D38999/26WE6PB is a straight plug connector conforming to MIL-DTL-38999 Series III specifications, designed for rugged subminiature connectivity in aerospace, defense, and marine applications. The connector features a threaded 360° turn coupling mechanism with environmentally sealed construction and composite shell material with electroless nickel plating (2000-hr salt spray rating). It supports multiple contact sizes (8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 22, 23) with a maximum of 187 signal contacts, operates across a wide temperature range of -65°C to +200°C depending on shell finish, and provides 500 mating cycles durability with options for higher durability versions. The connector includes scoop-proof design, EMI spring fingers for electromagnetic interference control, and normal keying configuration, making it ideal for critical interconnect applications requiring environmental sealing and high reliability in demanding operational conditions.
