DESCRIPTION
The DMC-MD26F is a single-module extender receptacle connector designed for quick-change modular connectivity in aircraft IFE and cabin systems. It features a composite nickel-plated housing with support for crimp and PCB contacts ranging from size 24 to size 8, accommodating signal, coaxial, Quadrax, power, and optical contacts. The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C with vibration resistance rated at 20 g and durability of 500 mating cycles, meeting stringent aerospace reliability requirements. It provides environmental sealing with an interfacial sealing rating of 1.1 × 10?² bar and EMI protection as per EN4165 standard, with attenuation ranging from 50 dB at 100 MHz to 30 dB at 1000 MHz. The extender receptacle weighs 7 grams and supports multiple keying options (N, A, B, C, D, E, F, G) for configuration flexibility.
