DESCRIPTION
The QW152-L is a stainless steel quarterwave mobile antenna designed for 152–162 MHz operation with unity gain and ½-wave whip configuration. It features a gold-plated brass contact for corrosion resistance and maximum conductivity, combined with heavy-duty Stand-Up™ grommets that resist degradation over time and maintain straightness. The antenna incorporates high spring temper rods and a stainless-steel corona ball that remains fixed to the rod, eliminating dissimilar metal interactions found in competitor designs. With an overall length of 45.7 cm (18 in.), the QW152-L is ideal for mobile radio applications requiring reliable, long-lasting performance in demanding environments such as public safety, commercial mobile radio, and transportation systems.
