DESCRIPTION
The 222D242-3-0 is a right-angled, lipped heat-shrinkable boot designed to provide mechanical protection and strain relief between a cable and a circular connector. Constructed from semirigid polyolefin (material code -3), it features a minimum main entry diameter of 34.0 mm and a minimum cable entry diameter of 22.9 mm as supplied. After unrestricted recovery, the boot has a maximum overall length of 172.2 mm and a recovered length of 132.6 mm. This boot is typically used on open-wire-bundle airborne harnesses or in applications where its long tail can replace cable jacketing that has been removed during termination.
