DESCRIPTION
The RB8522-16-3M0 is a current-compensated, 2-wire common-mode choke from the RB series, intended for filtering electromagnetic interference. It provides a nominal inductance of 3.00 mH per path and is rated for a current of 16 A with convection cooling, which can be increased to 25 A with forced air cooling. This component features a DC resistance of 8.4 mΩ per path and is designed for a maximum operating voltage of 600 VAC or 1000 VDC. Its open construction allows for effective cooling and it is suitable for vertical PCB mounting, making it ideal for AC/DC filtering in photovoltaic inverters, fast chargers, and switch mode power supplies.
