DESCRIPTION
The KD-59-63 is an RF coaxial connector plug designed for use with RG-55A, 142, 142A, and 223/U cable types. It features a nominal impedance of 50 ohms and is rated for 1000 Vrms, with a frequency range extending from DC to 11 GHz, making it suitable for broadband RF and microwave applications. The connector employs a Teflon insulator (ASTM-D-1457), beryllium copper outer contact and spring washer, and a bronze K-grip sleeve for secure cable retention. The center contact is finished with hard gold plating per MIL-G-45204, while all other metal parts are silver-plated per QQ-S-365 to ensure excellent electrical performance and corrosion resistance. This connector is commonly used in military, aerospace, and telecommunications systems where reliable RF signal transmission and mechanical durability are critical.
