DESCRIPTION
1001924 is an open top static shielding bag from the 3M SCC 1000 series, designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. This transparent, metallized bag features four-layer construction with polyester dielectric and aluminum metal layer providing Faraday effect shielding against ESD and electrostatic fields. The bag has a thickness of 3 mils, tensile strength of 4700 PSI, and seam strength exceeding 10 lbs, with interior and exterior surface resistivity less than 10^12 ohms/square. It meets or exceeds electrical and physical requirements of ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and is ANSI/ESD S20.20 program compliant. Common applications include packaging and protecting ESD-sensitive electronic components during storage and transport.
