DESCRIPTION
The 4720 is a dual conductor thermoplastic wrist strap designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection in conjunction with 3M workstation monitors. It features an insulative exterior with a conductive interior, a 3.4mm dual conductor jack, and a zipper-style latching mechanism that adjusts to wrist sizes from 1.7 to 2.6 inches in diameter. The strap meets the resistance requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014, with internal resistance less than 105 ohms and external resistance greater than 107 ohms, ensuring safe contact with human skin while maintaining proper grounding. The lightweight, low-profile design is cleanable with water, mild detergent, or 10% isopropyl solution, making it suitable for laboratory and industrial environments where static control is critical.
