DESCRIPTION
7001218 is a Dri-Shield 2000 series aluminized moisture barrier bag designed to provide packaging protection for ESD and moisture sensitive items. The bag features a multi-layer laminate construction of aluminized polyester and polyethylene with a thickness of 3.6 mils (0.0914 mm ±10%), offering excellent puncture resistance of 20 lbs (89 N) and tensile strength of 7800 PSI (54 MPa). It provides superior ESD shielding at less than 10 nJ and EMI attenuation of 45 dB across 1 to 10 GHz, with surface resistance ranging from 1 x 104 to less than 1 x 10¹¹ ohms on both interior and exterior surfaces. The moisture vapor transmission rate is =0.035 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs, ensuring reliable moisture protection. These bags are heat sealable at temperatures of 300°F to 400°F (140°C to 204°C) and are suitable for vacuum packaging applications in electronics manufacturing and storage.
