DESCRIPTION
D301518 is a Dri-Shield 3000 series foil moisture barrier bag designed to protect ESD sensitive and moisture sensitive electronics, typically SMT (Surface Mount Technology) items. The bag is manufactured from a laminate of nylon, foil, and polyethylene, providing discharge shielding and minimizing penetration of electric fields. Key physical properties include a thickness of 6 mils (0.006" ±10%), tensile strength of 3800 PSI (26 MPa), puncture resistance of 16 lbs (71 N), and seal strength of 15 lbs (66 N). Electrical characteristics feature ESD shielding of less than 10 nJ, surface resistance of 1 x 104 to less than 1 x 10¹¹ ohms, and EMI attenuation of 45 dB. The bags are heat sealable at 400°F (204°C), suitable for vacuum packaging, and meet ANSI/ESD S20.20, ANSI/ESD S541, ANSI/ESD S11.4 Level 1, and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 standards.
