DESCRIPTION
AP12-1-41-702 is a two-pole hydraulic magnetic circuit protector designed for 400Hz short time delay operation with a nominal current rating of 7.0 amperes. This fully sealed magnetic circuit protector combines power switching and accurate, reliable circuit protection with inverse time delays and trip-free features, operating across DC, 50/60Hz, and 400Hz frequency ranges. The unit features a DC series resistance of 0.025 ohms for delays other than 40, 50, 60, and exhibits trip time characteristics of 0.200 to 7 seconds at 125% rated current, 0.055 to 0.950 seconds at 200% rated current, and faster response at higher overload levels. With an auxiliary switch rating of 3.0 amps at 120 VAC/50 VDC and a weight of 1.8 ounces per pole, this protector is ideal for aerospace, industrial, and military applications requiring precise circuit protection without temperature-dependent trip current variation.
