DESCRIPTION
The C41CDB120A is a bimetal thermostat from the Airpax 4100 series featuring a brass probe for immersion sensing and low-cost thermal protection. It operates across a temperature range of 40°C to 130°C with nominal operating temperature settings in 5°C increments and standard temperature tolerance of ±5°C. The device features gold-plated crossbar contacts rated for 28 VDC at 3 amps (5,000 cycles), 32 VDC at 1 amp (30,000 cycles), or 120 VAC at 1 amp (30,000 cycles), with SPST (Single Pole, Single Throw) contact operation available in either close-on-rise or open-on-rise configurations. The thermostat is constructed with brass and epoxy/crimp seal materials meeting NEMA 4 and 13 (IP67) standards, providing protection against harsh environments including pressure washing. Typical applications include monitoring engine manifolds, oil, coolant, hydraulic systems, refrigeration systems, heat exchangers, and HVAC systems in off-road vehicles, air compressors, marine engines, mining equipment, and long-haul trucks.
