DESCRIPTION
The 430140-522 is a ThermaTEC™ Series thermoelectric module (TEM) designed for thermal cycling durability and high-temperature applications requiring both heating and cooling operation or power generation. It features Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material paired with thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics and proprietary 271°C solder construction for robust performance under demanding conditions. The module delivers a maximum cooling capacity of 34.3 W at 25°C hot-side temperature with a maximum temperature differential of 63°C, operating at up to 4.0 A and 14.5 V, with a module resistance of 3.36 O. It is rated for continuous operation up to 175°C maximum and is available with optional RTV or epoxy sealing for enhanced environmental protection. Common applications include analytical instrumentation, PCR cyclers, thermal test sockets, electronic enclosure cooling, liquid chillers, and thermoelectric power generation systems.
