DESCRIPTION
The 102160-1 is a universal ejection pin header connector designed for ribbon and flat flex wire cable applications. It features 10 positions with a 0.100 x 0.100 inch (2.54 x 2.54 mm) centerline matrix spacing, right-angle PCB mounting, and military-style center dual polarizing bar mating polarization for secure alignment. The connector is shrouded with a 4-sided black thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0, and includes gold-plated contact mating areas over nickel with square contact shapes for reliable signal transmission. The solder posts are 2.79 mm (0.110 inch) long with tin-lead over nickel plating, compatible with wave solder processes up to 265°C, and the assembly accommodates PCB thicknesses of 1.57 mm (0.062 inch). This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring robust, polarized interconnections with high reliability and ELV compliance.
