The connector incorporates preloaded gold-plated contacts with square shape, a 2.54 × 2.54 mm (0.100 × 0.100 inch) centerline matrix, and long latch-type mating connector locks with dual polarizing bar military alignment. The termination posts are 3.94 mm (0.155 inch) in length with tin-lead over nickel plating, and the connector is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C, making it suitable for automated assembly processes.
