DESCRIPTION
104362-6 is a vertical through-hole header assembly with swaged tall posts designed for wire-to-board interconnection applications within the TE Connectivity AMPMODU MTE interconnect system. It features 15 µ" gold plating for enhanced corrosion resistance and reliable contact performance. The header supports 2–25 positions per row with a 100 mil centerline spacing and accommodates wire gauges from #22 to #30 AWG in IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) configurations or #20 to #32 AWG for crimp snap-in contacts. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C with a maximum current rating of 3 amps per single contact in free air, this connector is suitable for high-reliability applications. The swage option on posts provides secure retention in printed circuit boards, making it ideal for medical instruments, automotive controls, computers, and industrial equipment requiring robust wire-to-board connections.
