DESCRIPTION
106506-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D right-angle posted receptacle connector designed for PCB mounting applications with 15 contact positions and solder termination. The connector features a front metal shell with tin plating for EMI/RFI shielding, with socket contacts made of phosphor bronze and duplex plated with 0.000030 inches gold on the mating end and tin on the solder tails, with overall nickel underplating. It supports multiple mating hardware options including 4-40 threaded inserts, 4-40 female screwlocks, M3 threaded inserts, and M3 female screwlocks, with boardlock mounting capability on a 3 mm hole footprint. The connector is housed in UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic and is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections in industrial, telecommunications, and instrumentation equipment where space efficiency and signal integrity are critical.
