The connector incorporates a standard profile with shrouded 4-sided housing in black thermoplastic (UL 94V-0 rated), dual center polarizing bars for military-grade mating polarization, and gold-plated contact mating areas over nickel with palladium-nickel flash. The solder posts are tin-lead plated over nickel with a length of 2.79 mm, and the connector is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C, making it suitable for automated assembly processes.
