DESCRIPTION
1-104480-4 is a crimp snap-in short point replacement contact designed for the AMPMODU MTE interconnect system. This contact features matte tin plating and is compatible with wire gauges in the 22–26 AWG range, supporting crimp-based assembly methods for flexible wire termination. The contact is rated for a maximum current of 3 amps in free air and operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C. It is supplied as a loose piece and mates with standard MTE receptacle housings and headers, making it suitable for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications. Common uses include medical instruments, automotive controls, computers, telecommunications equipment, and industrial appliances where reliable, cost-effective interconnection is required.
