DESCRIPTION
120953-5 is a high-current power connector module designed for Z-PACK/HSS backplane connector systems. It features an 8-position contact arrangement with a 24.50 mm (0.965 inch) pitch and is rated for 15 A per contact, providing robust power distribution in high-speed backplane applications. The connector utilizes press-fit termination technology with plated through-hole PCB mounting, incorporating copper thickness of 0.025 to 0.050 mm and tin-lead plating of 0.004 to 0.010 mm for reliable electrical connection and corrosion resistance. The finished hole diameter is 0.60 ± 0.05 mm, with a drilled hole of 0.7 ± 0.025 mm, ensuring precise mechanical alignment and secure contact retention.
