DESCRIPTION
1-215079-0 is a female-on-board top entry connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector family, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections with a 1.27 mm contact centerline spacing. The connector features tin-plated contact design and incorporates a positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, creating a gas-tight connection that is fretting corrosion resistant. It is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) and is available in multiple position sizes from 4 to 20 positions. The connector is widely used in automation and control applications including production and material handling equipment, robots, motors, control units, heating systems, automotive electronics, and communication devices, offering reliable interconnection with full range of application tooling from hand tools to fully automated equipment.
