DESCRIPTION
1-2178710-2 is a female board-to-board connector featuring top entry and through-hole (TH) mounting, designed as part of TE Connectivity's Micro-Match Value-line connector family with a 0.050 inch (1.27 mm) centerline pitch. This 12-position connector provides highly reliable, gas-tight, and corrosion-free connections with insulation displacement contacts, supporting automatic pick-and-place assembly via tape and reel packaging. The connector accepts standard ribbon cable and is compatible with a full range of application tooling from hand tools to fully automated equipment.
