DESCRIPTION

1-2178711-0 is a female board-to-board connector with top entry and surface-mount (SMD) design, part of TE Connectivity's 0.050 inch centerline Micro-Match Value-line connector family. The connector features tin-plated contact design for highly reliable, gas-tight, and corrosion-free connections, with a miniature form factor that saves space on printed circuit boards. It is supplied on tape and reel, making it suitable for automatic pick-and-place assembly and termination processes. The connector supports multiple position configurations (4 to 20 positions) and is designed for industrial, consumer, and datacom applications including home automation, alarm equipment, mobile GPS devices, lighting, and climate control units. Its compact 1.27 mm pitch and robust design provide excellent vibration resistance and reliable performance across broad temperature ranges.
